Kate Jordan is an author and copywriter. Her writing has appeared in New Delta Review , Word Riot, and Cosmonauts Avenue. She has received Honorable Mentions from Glimmer Train and SouthWest Writers, been longlisted for the 2019 Nonfiction Prize in Cosmonauts Avenue and won the 2010 Denver Woman’s Press Club Memoir and Ultra-Short Novel Awards. Her articles have appeared in Animal News, Outdoors in the Pikes Peak Region, and Stapleton’s Front Porch. Past copywriting clients include American Red Cross, American Humane, Morris Animal Foundation and 9News.
